Personally, I detest the immature act that, when in an official match, is hardly what I'd call "harmless fun."

Some might argue that as long as they're not playing in ranked battles that it's acceptable, though as a turfer more often than not, it annoys the living daylights out of me to know that our 3-man (er, squid) team lost by 2% because our 4th player was bouncing up and down in a corner somewhere getting repetitively killed (er, splatted).

More than anything though, isn't Squidfest the LAST time any of these "partiers" should be messing around? I was just handed a level 1 squid and aside from the thoughts of "ohgawdhelpus" I optimistically thought "well, I'm sure they'll at least put out a good effort. Everyone's gotta start somewhere."

Of course, I had to be wrong.

We're the red team, and yet we were handed a Magikarp. A MAGIKARP. The most useless Pokemon (disregard even that it's a water Pokemon.. that can't swim) in the history of ever.

And by that, I mean our newblet literally bounced up and down in it's own ink directly next to our base for the entirety of the battle. He also found it necessary to smash the "C'mon!" and "Booyah!" buttons from the moment the clock started until time ran out.

While a shout-outs thread is awesome, is it terribly wrong that I would love a blacklisted thread as well? Not really as a means of bullying, but as a way to give others a heads up of who to avoid if possible.

I intend to leave the lobby anytime I'm paired up on the same team as this kid, as it would otherwise be a waste of 3 minutes of my life. If I leave before the match starts, it won't affect my team, will it? That would be my only concern.

Anywho, anyone else on board with the "I can't fathom the ridiculousness that is squid parties" opinion? If not, feel free to defend yourselves. I probably won't agree, but hey, I'll hear anyone out.
