As someone who listens to Splatoon music often (I listen to a playlist of multiplayer music from all three games all the time, with Sashimori having my favorite songs.) I have heard a lot of the little details, and two of the songs from Splatoon 3 have intrigued me about some sounds origin. (Lorewise for one.)
First of all, in the song Headhammer, there is a weird vocal chorus that I've jokingly thought of as a cameo by Big Man, but I think it's something different, of course it'll be easy to chalk it up as some neat editing something, but I need the lore! Like another theory is that it might be a hammerhead shark due to the similar name.
The other song I wonder is the iconic Now or Never! My question there is the source of an "aagh" heard during the transition between the singers in the singing after a short break from the starting vocals. My best theory is it's the drummer. (who I imagine being the pufferfish.)
These are just a few questions I leave from the songs to discuss.
I found this thread cause i just heard "fishing frenzy" from splatoon 2 in a random video, and i clearly hear a sample from the 'crazy frog' video in there. I don't really know music making but i feel like they took a bit of the scat lines(bam beem bab brrraam etc) shifted them way up, and filtered out most of the sound, getting a very chaotic rhythm and slight melody, and them built the whole song on top of that, but i can still hear it back underneath all other sounds. And yes i am very high, but I'm convinced this is true and can't find another mention of it anywhere onlineĀ andĀ needĀ someoneĀ toĀ tellĀ meĀ imĀ notĀ crazy.
