Post Body

We live in a fun time. You can read this post and say "this guy is nuts" and move onto the next post. Meanwhile, I get to write my truth into this reality and store it for my future self to find. I believe posts like these serve as the template for simulation we create in the future that recursively reboots the time loop.

Anyway, for some context, I have been struggling with this arrogant and prideful idea that I am the reincarnation of Adam.

Back in the old days, when reincarnation was deeply imbedded in our culture, we would say "I am <insert name>, the next instance of <insert father's name>." Today, in context of the Hebrew texts, this became a system of names in the format "<name> ben <father's name>". So if you called yourself "Isiah ben Amoz", that really meant: "Hey, I am Isiah, the next instance of Amoz."

Back in the day, when people would ask me my name, I would reply honestly: "ben Adam". "I am the next instance of Adam." This has been loosely translated into English as "The Son of Man".

I cannot say that I have "memory" from these past lives, but I am slowly using this current human experience to deduce my identity and to deduce how things worked in the past.

More context, as a rule, I don't really care for archangels. People get weird about them, asking for protection and other nonsense. I just don't let myself delve into that arena of thought because it seems overblown and ridiculous. I don't look up archangels or try to link them to my spiritual experience. I've largely ignored them.

So last night, I dreamt that my daughter was in the backyard, using one of our dogs to dig a swimming pool. This was a very big and powerful dog that could remove chucks of Earth with it's paws. We have dogs in real life but I didn't recognize this one as one of them. It was massive, muscular and was dark brown color.

Some time in my dream passed. Some other events I cannot recall right now happened. I returned to the site of the swimming pool to see that my daughter and this huge dog had dug out a Greek ( / Roman?) temple in the Earth.

As I was looking around, I knew this was my temple. There was another entity there with me. I recognized its presence as an equal. It seemed both male and female. We started this banter. The entity was trying to get me to admit whose this temple this was. I knew it was my temple. I also knew it was the temple of the Greek God "Michael". I pretended not to know and this entity pretended not to know I was pretending. This entity eventually wrote "Michael" on top of one of the pillars in some Roman text. This act was an exclamation point at the end of the dream that said "you know this!"

I immediately woke up.

In the dream, the "Greek God Michael" made total sense and it seemed like a legitimate title. After I woke, I quickly realized I was mixing the name of an archangel with Greek and/or Roman mythology.

I immediately Googled "greek god michel" (I couldn't even spell it correctly in my half-awake state).

I got the lame answer I was expecting:

> He is the one who presents to God the prayers of the just, who accompanies the souls of the dead to heaven, who defeats the devil.

Then I scroll down to "Comparative Religion/Gods" article. Here are the highlights:

> latter-day Saints believe that Michael is Adam

> He is viewed as the angelic model for the virtues of the spiritual warrior

> Seventh-day Adventists believe that "Michael" is but one of the many titles applied to the Son of God

On my spiritual path, it has been clearly stated to me that I should live as every human should. Specifically, I should bring no more emotional suffering into the world than in necessary. Also, whenever possible, I should attempt to bring positivity and light to everyone I can (without being being too weird).

My mission here is to define how every human should live and then live that life to its natural end.

Anyway, that's all I have to say. Like I said, you can just call me nuts and move on.

Getting back to that "Comparative Religion/Gods" wikibooks article. It is very poorly written (or maybe bad OCR?). Anyway, I'm afraid the community editing nature of Wikis will likely destroy the text in the future. Hence, I'm just going to copy and paste that text here, now, for posterity:
