So my friend and I both love Spirit Island and each have our own copies (all expansions). Next week we're going to play a six spirit game where we each play three spirits (this feels do-able as we both play two spirits regularly). But what I was wondering is with two sets would it be possible to play an 8, or even 12 spirit game?
The rules all scale based on Spirit Number and we have all the components, is there anything stopping us from setting up larger island configurations than 6? That's the only area of concern I see, that the board layouts could start to get dodgy (making sure every board has good accessibility and logical water access.) Likewise I know it's going to a very very long game, but that's to be expected.
Has anyone played like this before?
