Pain relapse 2 months post cervical ACDF

I was pain free since surgery (still on gabapentin) until last week. This week it has blown up into full on nerve pain and muscle spasm but with a twist: it has switched sides. My pain has always been left should down to elbow. This new development has the exact symptoms but mirrored to my right side. I'm right dominant so this is a problem. I've started wearing the soft collar again yesterday just in case. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Edit: It's a 3 level fusion.
