What was your recovery like after a spinal fusion?

Post Body

I got a disc fusion for one section of my spine. It's been 2 months and I feel more ready than ever, but I still feel pain. I'm dying for this to go away.

I want to be able to dance again. I tried dancing (nothing crazy) today and I ended up hurting myself. I almost fell because I sneezed. My two biggest fears are coughing and sneezing.

I know they said it was going to take about 6 months to a year but like mine is so minor but I feel so limited. It's so aggravating. I feel ready to go because I haven't felt this good in a long time but I can tell my body is not ready yet. The wait is killing me.

Anybody recovering right now? What's your recovery process like?

Edit* I didn't realize not all disc fusions have a cage. I have one. ❤️
