MIS TLIF Post Op Pain?
Post Body

I’m preparing for an MIS TLIF at L5-S1 at some point this year for a grade 2 spondy. I don’t have a date yet. Just trying to mentally prepare myself for how much pain I can expect.

My back pain is still fairly manageable at this point, but my legs have been tingling and buzzing for probably a year now (Things take a long time in Canada). I also occasionally get zaps of pain in my feet and toes, and below my left knee (which is excruciating when it happens, but hasn’t happened in several months. And I don’t really know why. I worry it’s the nerve just starting to give up or something).

Anyways, just wanted to know what I’m in for. I’m a 27 year old male athlete. Hoping this surgery gives me full sensation in my legs back, and gives me my life back.
