In Daniel Ceccheti's list from GP Miami, the Lions just seem so out of place and don't contribute much to the board plan. What are some other cards that could potentially replace him?
A few ideas I've had were:
Heir of the Wilds (early death touch pressure, and can often be 3/3, provides the same amount of devotion)
Ugin (much more expensive, but a massive threat and my manifested creatures are colorless)
Temur Sabertooth (add a couple more and make sure I can reliably get the engine going)
Life's legacy or Shamanic Revelation (the deck runs out of gas with the ramp, it'd be nice to fill the hand up. Legacy is cheaper but Shamanic meta huge card advantage and can gain a lot of life)
Nylea, God of the Hunt (big pumps, trample with huge creatures, and a bow for death touch and trample seems nice in a deck that just makes lots of bodies)
Arbor Colossus (stops flying creatures, pretty much all the relevant ones, and adds a ton of devotion, and a great body for his cost)
You spikes have any idea which cards seem best suites to replace the lions? Should I not replace them? Please let me know!
