I am certain I caught a Crab Spider; normally where I love all the spiders around my windows and outside lights are cross spiders, helpful dudes, but today up in the light I catch my spiderfood with outside, there was a crab spider crawling on and around all the cross spider's webs!
I've never actually seen such a pretty spider around here, semi translucent, ever so slightly greenish white. I'd take a picture of me handling her if my phone camera wasn't awful; I'll ask my girlfriend to take a pic next time I see her.

Do you think a crab spider would be likely to drown though? A centipede did so recently, and it's the first time the water has become a problem for the land creatures, so I'm much more careful now.
