I’m getting ready to adopt a cat and put my deposit for a Sphynx. I’ve done lots of research and I’m very ready to provide the care necessary for the happiest of kitties! One of the things I liked about getting a cat (vs many other pets) is the fact that they are independent and can be left alone for 2-3 days without worry (as long as their basic needs for food and water are available). I know that Sphynxes are particularly affectionate and need lots of attention, but are they also okay to be left for a few days? I work from home and will be around most of the time, but once in a while I do take random quick trips with friends and I want to make sure my feline friend will be okay.
