Advice on bathing sphynx please?

I’m a pretty new sphynx owner been doing research and everyone seems to say something different when it comes to bathing them. Some people say they need baths weekly and some people say you can go up to 5/6 months before baths.
I’m kinda assuming there’s probably a sweet spot somewhere in there that varies depending on your particular cat. Does anyone have any advice on how to tell when your sphynx is dirty and needs a bath?
