Hello- I have a 2023 Allez and as of now everything is standard from a technical standpoint. I enjoy cycling on paved trails for around 50-70 miles 2x a week and currently wear a backpack for essentials. I called two separate local bike shops near me and both phone calls had a similar outcome which essentially was them politely “this bike is meant for speed it shouldn’t have a rack, I am not sure it’s possible on this bike you might have to call Specialized. Admittedly I did not pursue it further than that and decided to take to Reddit. I would like a rear rack to add a cargo bag so I can stop wearing a backpack. Specialized sells an accessory: https://www.specialized.com/us/en/specialized-rear-rack-seat-collar/p/155736?color=228429-155736
However the size needed for my bike is not in stock. Are there any alternate options for me? Would a standard rear rack be able to attach? I am new to cycling so would appreciate any help thank you
