Calves are shot - conditioning advice?
Post Body
So I did the Carolinas Beast and Sprint this weekend and oof. My calves decided to call it at about mile 9 on the Beast.
Most everything else seems to be fine (so far). I don't run much normally as I just really don't enjoy it.
Anyone have any advice on conditioning? I'm assuming the answer is longer runs on terrain but is there anything else people have incorporated to prevent the cramping? I feel like I supplemented plenty prior to and during the race but you never know, right?
Thanks everyone!
