Alright, so I'll admit it's been a while since I've been on :D. With 1.3 out, It's back to work though, so heres the deal:

In the coming days, the server will probably be down and whitelisted. Don't fret though, I'll be using the server to generate the new map (and hopefully generate it a lot faster than my crappy laptop can, with moderators helping me out).

This has become complicated enough that we're probably going to do beta testing after we're done generating a smaller version of the map. I've opened a uservoice here for this phase or any other ideas: https://zday.uservoice.com/ (Note: not for grief/hacking reports)

I'll select volunteers for this part of the process below, please list your screen name and I'll select a few, but don't suggest yourself unless your willing to put in tickets and ideas. The generated world will not be used later, and will probably be wiped within a few days.

Next will be release. My plan is to load up the old map and have generated somewhere the portal to the new world. I'll post the coordinates and you can all have a nice adventure to the new map with your items intact (if there aren't any people stopping you that is). After about a week of that, we'll disable the old map.

OH YEAH, before I forget, we're gonna do some serious moderation on this map. I'm just as tired about x-rayers as probably anyone here, so if I or anyone of my team sees the signs of x-raying, we will ban first and ask questions later.

On top of all this, and if time allows, I may be setting up some sort of donator/member who will get some basic necessities (fishing rod, wooden tools) on spawn, offered to people who donate a few bucks. Nothing too lopsided, but a little extra benefit for helping server upkeep.
