What transpired, and my personal take.
Post Body

This morning, I was checking on all the survivors, checking out bases and just generally checking stuff out. I consider myself an independent observer, and I strictly do not try to get involved for the reasons which will become apparent:

  1. The Lords of Jazz attacked iTiamo without provocation and because they believed they could overrun him. Before this, he asked if he could join the lords.
  2. They were killed 3v1
  3. He found their base, and destroyed everything inside.
  4. I had to watch and couldn't do anything.
  5. I talked to everyone and decided to test if he was actually hacking.
  6. I killed him with a sword expecting to return his stuff after proving he wasn't using a godhack. He committed suicide before I could and lost all his items in lava. It took many hits because he was using enchanted armor not because he was hacking.
  7. I'm returning all his items based on what he remembers, but he has to re-enchant everything himself.

iTiamo is a legitimately good player, he knows how to PvP incredibly well and he had many items that kept him alive even though he had incredibly bad odds against 3 other people.

To the Lords of Jazz, I can only say I'm sorry for your loss, but you need to forge your anger into something useful rather than force the title of "Hacker" on someone. We have literally the highest settings for anti-hack, it even kicks me if I drop too many items, and there was no logs about his behavior.

The next time this happens, I will not get involved, even after the fact, if there is no evidence of hacking. This is a chaos server, treat it as such and understand that no one/group is entirely safe.
