I've been pondering the idea of a space elevator for quite some time now. Obviously actual elevators are out of the question, but I've found a couple large cargo tether builders out there but I haven't found a single one that can get at least up to .45g on Mars or .50 on earth respectively. Landing all the way down on a planet to drop off cargo takes WAY too long. Of course, I just play creative because I enjoy building things a lot and unfortunately I'm not savvy enough just yet to build these types of things. I'm also looking for any type of mod that adds a sort of transporter, like star trek or just a straight up teleport. Any input is appreciated!
