Are they ever going to expand the damage engine to show visible damage on non-armor blocks? It seems kind of broken the way other blocks just suddenly disappear after taking damage.

All blocks show 'damage' through their build and deconstruction stages via the welder and grinder, but I'm not sure exactly how they react to damage visually. I seem to remember an update that added in particle effects and a scrap metal object, but that might just be to the armor blocks.
