So here's the situation. I'm an average tech guy, with average intellect, interviewing for a really cool position with a great company. They've tasked me with doing a presentation on anything I'm passionate about...well, the first thing that came to mind (which probably speaks to it being the right thing) would be space, but more closely, life in space. (Astrobiology?) Anyways, my goal is to do a play on alien life...minus tinfoil hats...in other words, persuasion on why life is more likely out there (and closer than they may think). My outline is still in the early phases, but I was hoping by putting it out to this community, I can get some feedback, suggestions, comments, and ideas to sharpen it up. Aside from an awesome intro, given the time restraint (10 mins or less), I plan on expanding upon: Life in the depths of our own oceans (thriving off methane) ; Titan's atmosphere and sort of proto-earth status ; Europas warm ocean ; Kepplers discoveries ; and close with this awesome video that I found that showcases exoplanets discovery explosion over the past 2 decades. I'm debating on including the Drake equation somewhere in there as well, but that can get tricky or difficult. Sorry, I wish I could've listed them a bit better (silly reddit), and I plan to dig into each on these examples in a relatable way (as these folks will have varying degrees of perception)...but from here, I'll leave it up the community. Thanks in advance!
