Not really anything serious or detailed but I wanted to put it out there for discussion anyway so I could say I said it.

While watching the first episode, the whole time I had the feeling like we were following along with the bad timeline (like how some games have good and bad endings). Since time travel is involved in this series I would not be the least bit surprised if it turns out the the future we were introduced to initially was actually the undesirable one and they end up fixing it in the end. I don't think this because I'm mad at the designs or something didn't go my way or anything like that. I'm just saying I think the way it will go will be that they change the timeline and people are gonna get different 50yo designs and stuff by the end of it.
