With the new Panderverse special coming out, my YouTube feed was full of South Park clips. After watching a bunch of them, I got the desire to go back to the very beginning and rewatch the series yet again. Those first couple of seasons are still my absolute favorite. The series was still finding its rhythm, so episode arcs and themes were all over the place. Characters were still being fleshed out and Cartman, though an idiot and bully at times, hadn't quite developed some of his more evil/diabolical traits yet.

That's not to say that I don't love the rest of the series. Each season has a lot of great episode. But I have a certain attachment to those early seasons since I was a Junior in high school when the series first aired and I have a lot of great memories from that time. One favorite memory was when my wife and I were dating she went with me to see the South Park movie.
