Trey's Voice Is Going??

Has anyone else noticed that in the last couple episodes and specials, it seems like Stan and Randy (I.E. Trey) seem to have a hoarse voice? Kinda flatter and more gravely?
I thought maybe he was just under the weather for a couple of episodes, but we're almost a year on and it still seems to be a thing. Is there a larger problem he's dealing with, health wise?
