A while ago I noticed other states had something like this, but SA did not. Too many of us are cocooned in our rooms and our houses, never speaking to anyone we don't already know, and only using reddit to get in dumb arguments (yeah I'm guilty of this one too) or for more... unsavoury services.
So we're attempting to remedy that with:

It's a SFW space where anyone who can behave themselves can suggest activities or venues and find people to join them. And unlike something like MeetUp or Eventbrite, there's no fees or charges, and we'll hopefully attract a broader age range.

π Did you want to find or start a book club? Chuck up a post.
_
π½ Want people to go to the cinemas with? We're already working on a group for horror enthusiasts.
_
π² Have you already got all the campaign books and mini-figures but no one to play with? Start a tabletop group.
_
π Know of any local online or IRL communities looking to reach out to more people? Feel free to share those with us too!
_
We're all a bit new to this and no doubt there will be some things we'll need to iron out, but we hope we can make reddit a bit more of a useful and positive space for South Australians.
(Side note I did reach out to this sub's mods a couple of weeks ago but they never responded, so I hope posting this here is okay.)
