Struggling with skinless chicken breast

Post Body

Been struggling to make skinless chicken breast taste good.

Iโ€™m avoiding deep frying afterwards with batter as Iโ€™m trying to make it low cal. I also donโ€™t have access to butter milk.

I tried a wet brine overnight. I patted them dry and seasoned with Cajun spice and a knob of butter to add a bit of fat.

Tenderness is good, but the flavor was kinda meh and depressing. Dunno how to make it taste good.

Comments

Some stuff just shouldn't be SV cooked. For me, chicken breasts do best with a ton of seasoning and a hot and fast method. Grilled or blackened.
