Chicken soup with a twist, to treat a cold

After sauteing onion, celery, and carrots, I added about a tablespoon of flour and a ton of sliced garlic and cooked that about a minute, then a tablespoon of tomato paste, and cooked until the fond lightly browned. Then deglazed with a box of broth, and added 4 chicken thighs, bay leaf, peppercorns, thyme and dill.
