While it's far from perfect, to my knowledge, this is the longest single-take recording of Despacio that exists.

My goal was to record 2:00-7:00. I got in line prior to 2:00, and started recording when the line started moving. Why isn't the recording five full hours? I guess it didn't open right at 2:00. In any case, I was one of the first people in the room on Saturday, and that's when the recording starts.

I apologize for the quality (or lack thereof); I didn't have everything as dialed in as I thought I did. I did the best I could with what I had available to me. It should go without saying that there's no replacement for experiencing Despacio in person. This recording doesn't do it an ounce of justice.

This was a labor of love. Despacio really is happiness, and I want as many people as possible to have an opportunity to experience this thing that makes me so happy. I literally spent five straight hours with my arms outstretched to capture this. I hope you can appreciate what it took to make this happen.

There's a little bit of talking, mostly towards the beginning of the recording, as people enter the room for the first time and greet friends they haven't seen in months.
