I'm playing through Jedi Survivor at the moment. I quite enjoy the setting but know it's a somewhat derivative game of FromSoftware's games.
What I didn't like about Bloodborne is I'd eventually work out how to relatively defeat the enemies in the first area, but then when I would be trying to defeat the first mini-boss or whatever they're called, of course I'd die each time, and then get frustrated trying to get back to the boss. It seemed like a bit of a time sink! Is there a a soulslike game where when you die to a boss you can try and fight it again almost immediately, like SuperMeatBoy or Hotline Miami, rahter than having to traverse for 5-10 minutes each time?
Basically, Bloodborne didn't do it for me, but I'm open to trying other FromSoftware games. What would you recommend? Cheers!
