I've searched around and some people say the XM4s wired sound fine and others say it sounds bad. Mine sound like headphones that have not been plugged in all the way, there's virtually no bass and they sound tinny . Bluetooth, they sound great and normal. Is this a faulty pair or is this normal.
For the record I used the default AUX cable that came with the device, I've just plugged them into my standard MP3 jack on my windows motherboard and I've tested the same thing with my android using a USB-C to MP3. Same quality. Do I need a DAC or something?
Also people are saying you can use them wired and powered on (and they sound better). Every time I power them on and plug in the aux cable they power off or switch to bluetooth mode.
Here's a "video" showcasing what they sound like https://www.dropbox.com/s/gbl8nxvxi67g2ph/20211121_164719.mp4?dl=0 (deep end - jaden)
