Is it just me, or does Sony have one of the worst customer service around? They try so hard to avoid warranty repairs it seems. I have a sony tv I am trying to get a warranty repair for, and am getting the absolute runaraound regarding my case
EDIT: Sony deemed my issue as not within warranty, and that the warranty ONLY covers manufacturer defects. What is the fucking point of having warranty then! I will be calling geek squad to have the tv repaired. then after my allstate warranty is up in 2 years, never getting another sony tv again
EDIT EDIT: I got an email saying I qualified for a replacement TV for a discounted price ( which was 20 bucks less than what I could get at the store ) and that they could ship that out to me at the end of the week. Yeah, I really want to risk the tv being damaged in shipment and them refusing to repair it.
