Hey everyone, apologies in advance if I should be asking this question in a specific thread but, I just got a Sonos boost for my house. My entire Sonos setup is in my basement (I have a beam, one sub, and two SL’s for rears - a 5.1 setup). Anyway, my internet modem/router is located on the main floor of the house but in my basement, i have another router that is part of my mesh network. My mesh router in the basement has one Ethernet port in it.
Should I be connecting my Sonos Boost to my main router/modem (my router and modem is one device. I’m in Canada using Bell’s Home Hub 3000) on the main floor of my home or would it be better to connect to the mesh point in my basement that’s a lot closer to my Sonos setup?
Thanks in advance!
