It's absolutely wild to me that a company has amazingly beautiful hardware can have an abject disaster of an app.
As an android user I find the most simple things to do a chore. I can't stream audio of regular YouTube. That was my biggest "wish". To simply play whatever YouTube video and have the audio stream to the speaker(s) of choice. Should be simple enough ask.
Playlists are so clunky.
It constantly asks me to sign in as the main user. Truly, I shouldn't have to sign in at all, much less multiple times.
The app should be 1 simple thing: whatever other apps we are using, ie Spotify, YouTube. YouTube music, etc the audio of the app when in use should come through the speakers of choice ish a simple checkbox of the available speakers. Basically Bluetooth but with multiple "sound out" options.
I'm not a techie and maybe the ask is a lot more complicated than I understand but I don't believe that's the case.
Thanks for reading.. Hopefully someone from Sonos is reading our feedback.
