I have been a dedicated Sonos customer and advocate for more than ten years. We have a sub, beam, Play 3 and two of the Ikea speakers for surrounds. For many years I loved them. For at least the last year my Sonos is maddeningly non-responsive.
My wifi is super strong and consistent. Despite that, Sonos regularly fails to see my network. When it does, it regularly takes ten seconds or longer to actually "update" to show me what is playing at that moment. If I FF to skip a song it will take at least ten seconds to do so. Sometimes it doesn't skip it at all.
I've just about had it. All my gear is updated (app and speakers) and I'm seriously considering dumping it all to look for an alternative.
What is wrong with this company?
