Hey people,
I bought a few of these wireless stick-on wall switches, along with a Sonoff RF Bridge, to use with my smart bulbs around the house. I was under the impression that you could program the buttons (with Alexa, and Google when they offer the feature) to act as a routine/action button but I can't seem to get it to work. Are these stick-on switches only compatible with the wall switches that you wire in?
Details:
I've got my Rf bridge (along with Zigbee bridge & sensors) connected in the eWeLink android app. I go to add my switch, under the bridge, and got it where it says "My Remote: button 1" and pressing the physical button lights up the red light on the bridge, so they are connected. The Remote button shows up on Google home, but I can't really do anything with it. It's listed as "other" in Alexa, so when I create a new Routine and click on "When this Happens > Smart home", it's not listed.
These stick-on switches aren't too popular and I haven't been able to find answers to simple questions about these: are these switches not compabitble with Alexa? Can they be used for things other than connecting with the wired wall switches? Thanks in advance!
