Auto re-try wanted episodes

I haven't seen a post about this. But when I add a show, mark it as monitored and click add and search for missing episodes. It will run one search then stop and any episode that failed or wasn't found it doesn't look for again. Is it possible to have a show keep searching for episodes automatically until they are all found or does that eat up indexer daily API hits and why it's not a feature?
