I want to talk about the death sequence.

The death sequence in this game is amazing, one of the most intriguing things I have ever come across in any psychological game. How do you guys interpret it?
To me, it's like your "system" is shutting down and Simons "mind" is being flooded with memories and thoughts and feelings from past Simons and past bodies he has inhabited.
