Hello everyone :)
I'm leaving for a South America trip this Friday and last minute decided to switch Pucon, Chile for MP, Peru due to covid restrictions. I'm traveling with a very (almost crazy) budget so I'm trying to plan as much ahead as I can in terms of spendings.
I fly from Sao Paulo the 31rst and arrive at Cusco at 2pm. I think that I have to spend the night because the bus to Aguascalientes departs at 8:30am the next day?
The Aguascalientes/Hidroelectrica thing confuses me... I here are the questions:
- Does the bus really depart at 8:30 am?
- Do I take the bus to Aguas and then walk for 2 hours to Hidroelectrica or?
- Can I do Machu Piccu that same day and sleep in a hostel over there that night?
- I have to travel to Lima the next day (this is the difficult part) the last flight departs at 9pm from Cusco... is it doable by bus?
- If it is doable, do I walk from Machu Picchu to Aguascalientes and from there I take the bus to Cusco?
Any info would be highly appreciated. Including prices of transport 🤣 I've been looking all over the internet but the info is inconsistent.
Thank you in advance❤
