Hi fellow travelers!

I'm a single 38F that is planning her first trip to London. I have travelled solo before but never to London. I am planning on 8 days/7 nights there. What I want to know is.....what are some day/2 day trips that a solo female must take while there? I am thinking about popping over to Ireland or maybe head to France. There are just too many choices!!!

I am planning on early September (fingers crossed!!) and am travelling from the USA. I have lodging secured with friends so I can come and go when I please. I will be buying an Oyster card for my travel while around there.

My budget for my side trip is about $450 euros (~$550 US) on the high end.

Any input would be AMAZING!!!
