Hi! I'm getting ready for my first road trip since 2011. I'm a stand-up comedian and podcaster with a modest following (I make a poor living, but it pays my rent). Now that I have a car again, I'm going to depart in a month to drive around the country for ~5-10 weeks (still booking road gigs and podcast guests, forming my route). Has anyone here played with car sponsorships?
I'm not interested in the negative nathans who in other threads are like 'get a job! back in my day when gas was 70 cents meh meh mehmillinennialswahhhh.' I asked if anyone here knows much about car sponsorships on road trips, not what your thoughts are on crowdfunding.
I have some brands I can initially reach out to that I've worked with for the podcast, but I'm not sure what my options are and what this can look like....or what the price point might be. And if I struck out, I'd likely take a similar strategy just promoting the podcast, so the advice will likely be taken regardless if someone cuts a check.
Thanks!
