Hey everybody

I’m taking a trip to Ecuador in mid-January. I’m flying out of Los Angeles and landing in Quito.

Planned days as followed:

Day 0: LAX 9:00pm (flight departure)

Day 1: Quito 11:00am (flight arrival)

Day 2: Quito

Day 3: Quito

Day 4: Quito

Day 5: ????

Day 6: ????

Day 7: Baños de Agua Santa

Day 8: Baños de Agua Santa

Day 9: Baños de Agua Santa (depart by bus back to Quito around 5pm or so)

Day 10: Quito to LA (flight departs at 3:00pm)

Some towns i might be interested in visiting: Otavalo, Quilotoa, Cotopaxi

My interests include architecture, museums, history, and food. That being said, I would like to focus more heavily on nature for this trip.

Budget per day around $30-35 USD.

I can speak fluent Spanish.

Could I go with a loose itinerary and not book any accommodations in advance?

Also, I could add/cut days out of Quito and Baños if necessary.
