Hi I’m a [25 F] living in the U.S. I have about two weeks off at the end of July, and since I’ve no friends who want to travel with me or don’t have the funds to travel with me I’m going to be traveling solo to... somewhere... I really have no clue where I should travel to as this will be my first time traveling out of the country! I have about a $2000 budget, and I’m really thinking of leaving for only a week out of those two weeks. My preference is to be near a beach, but I don’t really have any preferences after that, other than a safe location. I’d love to travel to Belize or Costa Rica, but I’m not sure it’s entirely safe for a solo first time traveling female. So within that budget and time frame, are there any other places you guys would suggest? I had thought about NZ or Australia, however it is winter there in July! I had also been recommended Portugal but from my research, it’s out of my budget! Thank you guys!
