Hi, I’m travelling solo to London for the first time. I have visited the city before but with family. I’ll be visiting Manchester first for 3 nights and then 4 nights in London
Here is my rough itinerary
Day 1 - arrive in London from Manchester by bus at 3pm ( bus already booked)
Check in to hotel in West End area, and explore the locality. Not much travel, just walking around Piccadilly, Leicester Square, Chinatown
Day 2 - visit St Paul’s Cathedral in the morning, go inside and take a guided tour. Then take another walking tour in the Westminster area in the afternoon . Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, St James park. All of that. At night visit a local pub in the Leicester square area
Day 3 - visit Lords cricket stadium in the morning. After that I haven’t planned much .
Day 4 - Explore Covent Garden and Soho. Eat some good food there and check out some picturesque places
I know the itinerary isn’t packed but I don’t want it to be very hectic. I want to keep some down time
My interests: I’m a musician, and composer. I love film and also love taking good videos and pictures. I love to capture the best shots and places to post on social media.
I also like a bit of history but my main interest is getting extraordinary shots of beautiful places in London. It can be monuments, cafés, bars, views, parks or anything cool that brings out the culture of the city. I prefer not to travel too far. More towards the centre of the city
Any recommendations of places in London that are extremely ‘picturesque’ and would fit in my itinerary?
Thanks a ton!
