I’m going to Taipei for work this Feb 18-27. Just want to ask for recommendations on places I can go to. I’ve been to Shifen and Jiufen before so, I would like to explore more.

So far Feb 18 is a Sunday so I’ll go around the city.

Feb 19-23 are work days. But I’ll probably be able to explore the city a bit at night.

Feb 24 (Saturday) - planning to go on a daytrip to Tamsui then Beitou for some hotsprings since it’s in the same line. Then go back to Taipei for some night life.

Feb 25-26 (Sunday to Monday) - I’m looking at spending a night in Yilan. I pencil booked a stay in Jiaoxi for the hotsprings and nature but open for better suggestions! I’m not so sure how difficult this can be with regards to the commute. Planning to visit the beach and the Taipingshan forest not sure yet. I just want some nature and/or mountains for a change.

Others suggested Hualien and Taitung but it might be better to have 2 nights there. Might do it some other time.

Feb 26-27 - head back to Taipei then depart the next day.
