Should I cancel my Contract?
Post Body

Hello, Redditors! I need expert advice regarding a solar contract. I signed a $79k deal with Sunpower in April to secure NEM 2.0 quickly due to time constraints. My neighbor's company quoted $74k for the same-sized system, but couldn't meet the NEM 2.0 deadline.

Sunpower hasn't installed the system yet, and I'm exploring other options. Can you explain the significant price difference between Sunpower and the other two quotes below? I feel like I’m getting ripped off when I look at Sunpower compared to the other two quotes.

Is NEM really that valuable? I’m thinking of canceling my contract if the company can’t come down in price more than what they have offered to do which is only 2-3k based on my last conversation with the sales rep.
