Hello all, recently had my solar panels installed and just now I start to understand more and more about my home heating and hot water production system. Up to now, I had a timer set that triggered hot water production at 2am, during the night. I now changed it and hot water production is allowed during the day. It works well, but we are in summer, during winter it will be more clouds and more periods where solar will not produce. I had one guy this week how came to check my counter and at the same time he said that there might be a switch system that will unable hot water production only when the solar panels are producing. Anybody as an idea what this system might be?
