Help with Pidgin?

In response to Skype getting ready to push their awful new UI I decided to look into Pidgin with its "skypeweb" plugin. It signed in fine (though I'm not sure I'm sold on this UI either) but I have a few questions:
1) How do I add my Skype group chats?
2) How do I import my history?
3) How do I get it to show my offline contacts?
