Over recent years Box (cloud storage solution) moved away from letting files on your hard drive be indexable by other programs. Windows search indexing doesn't work, Everything doesn't work, even the search box in file explorer doesn't work. The files are held in a cache within your appdata, looks like a custom file system of some sort. To search, you have to use the garbage search tool that Box provides, which is far too basic for my needs.

There is a known workaround, where you map the box folder to a drive or network drive and then that drive can be indexed. But I have found this doesn't always work well.

So the question is, is there any search software that can deal with Box?
