Social Work job without BSW
Post Body

I just got a job for my rural county government as Social Worker 1 trainee level. I’m trying to prepare so I do a good job. I have a BA not in social work with a minor in human development. I’ve been a teacher. I’m hoping I like the job enough to want to get my MSW.

Any books or websites anyone can recommend? I’ll be with county In-Home Social Work. Get a county car.

Comments

Some classmates in my MSW program are former teachers. I’d say get your masters so more opportunities open up for you.
