I just interviewed for a position as a family partner and it sounds like a great opportunity for getting experience. However, I am nervous as hell about taking a position like this since I am a career changer. I am used to my cushy desk job but really want to become a licensed social worker eventually.

For those that have done this type of work, can you tell me about some good things about this work or is it a one-way ticket to burnout town?
