New to home visits and transporting… any car/bag essentials?

Post Body

Hey y’all! So I’ve been in the social work field for a long time now, but I recently transitioned roles as an adult case manager in a pretty rough area of town. I’ve never been in a position where I was required to do home visits and transport clients. I’ve always been a bit nervous about it, mostly because I’m new to this area and not as familiar with everything since moving here a few months ago. Any advice on things I should keep in my car or on my person? I thought about things like hand sanitizer, wet wipes, tissues. But outside of that I’m not sure. If anyone has any ideas or advice it would be much appreciated!!
