I'll be starting my final placement soon in Child Protection, which I'm pretty excited for. But that being said, I know it's a field which turns off a lot of people - mostly people with children themselves.
Being childfree, am I in a better position to be "emotionally detached" from situations so that I can look at the facts objectively? Or is it the case of "well why are you doing CP if you don't like kids to begin with?" Truth of the matter is, I may not want kids of my own, but I don't want to see them abused either. Any & all thoughts are welcome 😁
EDIT: Yes I know "re-educating" was the wrong terminology to use now. I have removed that line.
