I don't have major interests I can talk a lot about to others about. The 1-2 that I do / did, I've since lost a lot of my interest in, and they were very niche things that I couldn't bond over. I have a couple of minor interests which I dabble in occasionally, but they're just things I do casually and aren't exactly things that I would have a convo about.

I have hobbies and I'm personally fine with the way I am, but whenever I meet new people / try to make friends and I'm asked what I like to do in my free time, I find it incredibly difficult to answer. I suppose I come off as boring to some people as well, as they've told me.

So how do I connect with other people without having some particular interest that is common and that I could talk about? I don't want to do something I don't want to just for the sake of making friends. Every time I try to befriend someone online it just dies because of this.
